Organizers confirm that the festival will be April 30 and Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif. No word on the lineup of artists yet but the 2010 Festival featured performances by Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Brooks & Dunn, Sugarland, Jason Aldean, Billy Currington, Merle Haggard, Jamey Johnson, The Avett Brothers, Ray Price, Phil Vassar and many others.
Although it's a major RV and camping event, area hotels in the small Southern California community near the festival fill up quickly. Stagecoach organizers have posted a complete list of area hotels with contact information you can find here. You may want to reserve your room now to avoid being shut out. Organizers also supplied a list of off-site camping options that you can find here.
The 2009 Stagecoach grossed $6 million and drew 79,528 attendees to see acts that included including Brad Paisley, Kid Rock and Miranda Lambert, according to Billboard Boxscore. Figures for 2010 are not yet available.
Details on the festival line up, ticket sales, and competitions will be announced later in the year and posted on the Stagecoach website.
