Top Country Music Videos of 2010
10. 'Lover, Lover'
Jerrod Niemann
Jerrod Niemann's 'Lover, Lover' proved a highly successful introduction of the singer to country radio, as well as a hilarious introduction to his personality. In this video, as Jerrod sits on his front porch playing his guitar, his soon-to-be-ex is making her way back to their home. Along her walk, she spots a bunch of people playing softball, all wearing her clothes and using her things!
9. 'Mama's Song'
Carrie Underwood
This touching video shows the new Carrie UnderwoodMrs. Mike Fisher reliving her wedding-day bliss, as she assures her mother that she is in good hands. As Mama Underwood flips through scrapbooks, reminiscing about her daughter's past 27 years, the new bride snuggles with her husband en route to their honeymoon.
8. 'The Boys of Fall'
Kenny Chesney
Kenny Chesney took a simple song and turned it into a masterpiece documentary, spotlighting his favorite time of year: football season. In this video, he interviews some of the greatest players and managers in the gridiron world, and he takes fans inside the locker rooms for some of the coaches' heartfelt speeches.
7. 'Water'
Brad Paisley
From kiddie pools to wet T-shirt contests, this Brad Paisley video covers all the joys of H2O. The notoriously funny country superstar brought even more color to the video by performing with his band in a pool, instruments and all.
6. 'Hillbilly Bone'
Blake Shelton (featuring Trace Adkins)
In this hilarious clip, Blake and Trace enter an upscale restaurant sporting jeans and cowboy boots, ready to show the prissy customers how to find their inner hillbillies. Throughout the video, Blake chugs wine, while Trace sneaks some moonshine. (Blake tells us he woke up with a massive headache the morning after the shoot, so we know he wasn't just acting!)
5. 'Hello World'
Lady Antebellum
When Lady Antebellum's Dave Haywood told The Boot they were aiming to shoot an "epic" video for 'Hello World,' he wasn't kidding. The moving storyline shows how easy it is to forget how precious life is. The video will bring a tear to your eye, especially when a little girl is being pulled from an overturned car, then gasps for air at the song's climax.
4. 'Only Prettier'
Miranda Lambert
Laura Bell Bundy came up with the concept of this video for her buddy Miranda. The video stars the two songbirds alongside Kellie Pickler and Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott at a 1950s-style high school sock hop. Each beauty plays two parts: a prissy member of the "socials" clique and a rebellious member of the "greasers."
3. 'Pray for You'
Jaron and the Long Road to Love
Jaron and the Long Road to Love turned his solo country debut into not one, but two comical videos for 'Pray for You.' In one video, Jaron plays the heartbroken victim who seeks cosmic revenge on his ex. The second video stars actress Jaime Pressly, who turns the tables, playing Jaron's angered girlfriend.
2. 'Stuck Like Glue'
Sugarland
Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush channel their inner comedians in Sugarland's 'Stuck Like Glue' video. Jennifer plays the role of a wild-eyed, crazy stalker, obsessed with staying close to her ex-boyfriend. After a few extreme measures, she finally bags her beau -- literally -- to reclaim what once was her territory.
1. 'Why Wait'
Rascal Flatts
We still can't stop laughing at Rascal Flatts' storyline that mirrors the hit movie, 'The Hangover.' Starring actor David Arquette, the video has Flatts members Joe Don Rooney, Gary LeVox and Jay DeMarcus retracing their steps from the night before, as they try to remember exactly what happened in Vegas.
