Topping the list, which was compiled by the Americana Music Association and based the Americana Airplay Charts from November 17, 2009 - November 15, 2010, is the the 'Crazy Heart' soundtrack, featuring the Academy-Award-winning Best Original Song, 'The Weary Kind,' by Ryan Bingham.
Rosanne Cash's Grammy-nominated 'The List,' inspired by a list of 100 essential songs her father, Johnny Cash, presented to her when she was 18, finished at No. 2. Earlier this year, the collection of 12 songs Rosanne chose from that list to record won the Americana Music Association's Album of the Year honor. John Hiatt's 'The Open Road,' was the third biggest album of the year, while No. 4 was the Carolina Chocolate Drops' 'Genuine Negro Jig,' and Ray Wylie Hubbard's 'A Enlightenment B Endarkenment Hint There Is No C,' took the No. 5 spot.
The remaining albums in the Top 10 are Robert Earl Keen's 'The Rose Hotel' (No. 6), Band of Heathens' 'One Foot in the Ether' (No. 7), the Avett Brothers' 'I And Love And You' (No. 8), 'Downtown Church' by Patty Griffin (No. 9) and Reckless Kelly's 'Somewhere in Time' (No. 10).
