Jason Aldean & Kelly Clarkson 'Stay' at No. 1 for a Third Week

Jason Aldean once again tops both the Mediabase/Country Aircheck and Billboard country charts for the third week in a row with his 'Don't You Wanna Stay' duet with Kelly Clarkson. Billy Currington's 'Let Me Down Easy' rises to No. 2 on both charts, followed by Thompson Square's 'Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not' at No. 3.

Fans may be surprised to find out 'Don't You Wanna Stay' was actually written for one singer, not two. "The song wasn't written as a duet," Jason tells The Boot. "It was written by Jason Sellers, who was one of the writers and sang the demo on it. So, the song was great the way it was, but it's a lot cooler having [Kelly] on it."

Jason takes his No. 1 song, along with many other hits, back on the road when his My Kinda Party makes a stop in Thackerville, Okla., on Saturday (March 19). Click here for more information on Jason's tour dates.
