Dierks, whose 'Up on the Ridge' is nominated for Album of the Year, will perform his brand-new single, 'Am I the Only One,' on the April 3 broadcast. He will debut the song earlier that week on NBC's 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' Tuesday, March 29, followed by an appearance on CBS' 'The Talk' Wednesday, March 30. Fans can hear the new single, written by the singer with Jon Randall and Jim Beavers, when they go to Dierks' website and other social networks this week, and will be able to purchase the song via iTunes beginning March 29.
Sara tweeted over the weekend she will sing 'A Little Bit Stronger,' the hit single from her new album, 'Stronger,' while the Zac Brown Band will perform 'Colder Weather' with one of their idols, James Taylor. Martina McBride is set to perform her latest single, 'Teenage Daughters,' and the legendary group Alabama will reunite live on stage to perform with Brad Paisley on his latest single, 'Old Alabama.'
These artists join previously announced performers, Entertainer of the Year nominees Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Brad, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban.
Initial presenters include Nancy O'Dell from 'Entertainment Tonight' and Ryan Seacrest ('American Idol,' 'E! News'). More performers and presenters will be announced in the coming days.
The 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, hosted by Reba and Blake Shelton, will broadcast live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas April 3 at 8:00 PM ET.
