Rodney Crowell, Ashley Monroe, the Secret Sisters and Steve Young will participate in the event, which is being held in association with an exhibition at the museum titled 'Family Tradition: The Williams Family Legacy,' presented by SunTrust. Each songwriter will perform their own Hank-inspired songs, and discuss how studying the country legend shaped their careers.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential country artists of all time, Hank earned 11 No. 1 songs in his short career. His most recognizable hits include 'Hey Good Lookin',' 'I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry' and 'Your Cheatin' Heart.'
Hosted by Family Tradition co-curator Michael McCall, the event will begin at 1:30 PM in the museum's Ford Theater. The program is included in the price of admission to the museum and is free to members.
