The awards will be based on Billboard's chart rankings, plus album, single and digital sales, touring, streaming and social media interaction during the reporting period between February 28, 2010 through March 1, 2011. The top artists will be recognized in a variety of musical formats, including Country, R&B, Rap, Pop, Rock, Latin and Alternative.
Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, the Black Eyed Peas and Taio Cruz are also scheduled to perform on the 2011 Billboard Music Awards, which will air live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 22 on ABC.
Keith and Lady A are currently on tour in Australia as part of Keith's Get Closer 2011 World Tour. They are scheduled to perform in Tamworth on Tuesday (April 12) and Sydney on Thursday (April 14).
