Miranda won't be alone at the bash. According to the Louisville Courier-Journal, she's expected to bring along a handful of her best girlfriends, so she can celebrate her bachelorette party at the event. The reigning CMA and ACM Female Vocalist will tie the knot with Blake Shelton on May 14, the weekend after the gala.
Reality TV star Kate Gosselin ('Kate Plus 8'), is also expected to attend, minus her large brood, as will performers Kevin and Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, Taylor Dayne, DMC of Run DMC, Nick Lachey, former *N Sync member Joey Fatone, Green Bay Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers, NFL legend and FOX NFL commentator Terry Bradshaw, ESPN's Erin Andrews, New England Patriots' QB Tom Brady, Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn and figure skater Johnny Weir, supermodels Niki Taylor and Marissa Miller, and 'Law & Order' stars past and present, Christopher Meloni and Fred Thompson.
The gala is a fundraiser for the Barnstable Brown Diabetes and Obesity Research Center at the University of Kentucky. Last year's event raised $1 million.
Prior to her bachelorette party and subsequent wedding, Miranda will have a three-day run of shows in Texas beginning April 28 in Abilene.
