After first hearing the David Lee Murphy/Shane Minor-penned 'Live a Little,' which takes the listener back to carefree summers and yearning for them again, Kenny knew there was a perfect place for it in his live show. "When we were done with this song, I knew where it was gonna fit in my show," says the entertainer. "I knew that ... this defines our show. This is classic, the two hours, summertime, time of the year when we strap on our guitars and go out there and let them have it. This song is going to fit very well."
"Not a minute left for me to be me/ I gotta get my priorities straight/ I need to live a little, have some fun/Take some time, waste it on number one" are just some of the lyrics from 'Live a Little' that pertain to the Tennessee native, who took last year off from the road to not only recharge his batteries, but to work on his latest album, 'Hemingway's Whiskey,' as well as to put together a couple of sports documentaries for ESPN.
Kenny is currently headlining his Goin' Coastal tour, and is set to 'Live a Little' when he takes the stage in Mountain View, Calif., on Friday (April 29). For more information on Kenny's tour dates, click here.
