"I just couldn't believe what I was seeing on TV," says Hank Jr., who personally reached out to CMT and expressed an urgent need to address the disaster. "Alabama is home -- I am really pumped about helping. I want to raise lot of money, and thanks to my good friends, we are going to be able to make a difference."
Tuscaloosa, Alabama suffered the brunt of the storms, with countless homes and businesses destroyed, and hundreds of lives lost. Officials have calculated the Alabama death toll at more than 200, with an overall count of 328. All proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross Disaster Relief efforts.
