Keith Urban and Bill Anderson will soon be walked over -- but in a good way. The pair are the latest inductees into Nashville's Music City Walk of Fame. The display is a tribute to those who have made significant contributions to preserving the musical heritage of Nashville and have contributed to the world through song and industry collaboration.

Keith and Bill will have stars placed on sidewalk medallions with their name displayed in a star-and-guitar design. These plaques will reside in the Walk of Fame Park on Demonbreun Street, between 4th and 5th Avenues South.

"I've never really made goals," Keith told Country Weekly. "I tend to do better at just showing up every day, suiting up, and being prepared for what comes ... Probably every day I'm trying to figure out the best I could really be."

Bill, who recently blogged he was in Key West writing with Jamey Johnson and others, is somewhat stunned by the recognition that has come in recent years.

"They figured, 'Hey, if this old-timer is good enough for Vince Gill, maybe I should give him a few minutes of my time,'" Bill tells American Profile, referring to co-writing 'Which Bridge to Cross (Which Bridge to Burn),' a Top 10 hit for Vince in 1995. "That's how the doors began to open."

Fans are invited to the free induction ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 15 in Walk of Fame Park.

Keith's Get Closer World Tour begins June 16 in Biloxi, Miss. For a complete list of his upcoming concerts, check here.

I think is cool that that Keith Urban and Bill Anderson get the walk of fame. What I don't understand is all the great artist are not there. A guy like Bill Anderson should of been 20 years ago with his history, talent and for what he has done keeping his roots true to country music.
