Taylor Swift, 'Mean' -- New Video

Big Machine Records

Taylor Swift proves there is no limit to her imagination with the music video for her latest single, 'Mean.' A series of vignettes, showcasing the different shapes and sizes in which bullies come, are weaved throughout the tune, and leave the persecuted party with the uplifting knowledge that their tormentor is just mean. Whether you're a classic damsel in distress (portrayed by Taylor herself), shunned ballerina, hardworking Chippy Cheddar's sign girl or high school football team dropout, you can overcome those who are determined to keep you down. Watch Taylor Swift's 'Mean' video below.

IT is a good song when you want to vent about somebody. he he Taylor Swift has been around since she was 17 and still is kind and is genuinely grateful to her fans more than any other artist ive seen besides brad paisely. I love her songs! SHe is actually a good role model and hasnt fallen of of the band wagon. I can actually have my daughter listen to her when she is older and not to worry about if she is singing about something bad. SHe is a one of a kind singer and you dont see her partying and being stupid like so many other pop stars out there. not that she is a pop star. SHe may just have the look. HER songs are catchy and she actually writes her songs which is so rare so the people that dont like her are cukoo cukoo..

I think this song is Silly.......I know I'm ..mean. But If I want to be preached to I will go to church. Why dosen't she just entertain, I mean she is an entertainer. And sorry, to my ears she can not sing. I don't like her voice, but that's just me. She made a living singing and goood for her and her fans but I'm not one of them. And before someone puts me down she(Swift) posted it so I can and did commit on it. I don't like it.

Mmost bad things that happens there's always something good that comes out. In Taylor Swifts case she takes something great and makes it greater. Its inside me, so don't be, afraid to love me...written by me 5-13-11

This is a great song! I'm 18 now but I remember in 4th grade, there were 2 boys who used to make me hate coming to school everyday. This song would have defintely helped.

Bullying is the popular cause right now that is why she made it. She is a beautiful young lady with a nice voice, would I buy her music, no.
Nothing will change with bullying until we admit that some of the people that bully are the cheer leaders, teachers and the football players. Some of the leaders and popular kids bully and are allowed to get away with it cause of their status. Until we admit that this happens nothing is ever going to change.
The teacher thing especially. I remember being in a class and this male teacher would walk in and instantly start picking on the gal in front of me. She would have done nothing or said nothing. It was harrassment for god sake. Guess what 25 years later my daughter was suspended for sticking up for a student a teacher was bullying. So until we admit bullies can be anybody, things will never change. We are only admitting the elephant exist in the room but really do not care how to get rid of it.

Could this be any more puerile, any more inept, cloying, amateurish? I'm sorry, I meant pandering.
