"We've already been secured for a second season," Cee Lo reveals to Billboard magazine, "so prepare to see a lot more of myself, Christina, Blake and Adam, and a host of great artists doing their thing."
While the network hasn't made an official announcement regarding the four coaches, Cee Lo says he can almost guarantee their return. "That would be the safe assumption," he confirms. "I haven't heard anything other than that. I'll be there, that's for sure."
The success of the show, which was one of the highest-rated new series this year, makes sense to Blake.
"You never know what you're going to see once you turn around," he explains to The Boot. "I love that about it, because it makes you realize that no matter what somebody looks like, they still may be really talented. For some reason in the music industry, so much is made over looks and with videos and things like that. As an artist -- and I can speak for the other three artist coaches on the show -- that's why we were interested in this. Because we buy records of music that we just love. I buy posters and calendars of artists that I think are hot. [laughs] So, this brings that element back to the music industry."
Blake will have to carve out time to film the second season between his packed concert schedule. Miranda Lambert's new husband, who is currently enjoying a fishing trip with his wife after last weekend's nuptials, heads out on Brad Paisley's H20 II: Wetter & Wilder World Tour, along with Jerrod Niemann, on June 4 in Hartford, Conn. Keep track of his schedule here.
Blake's new album, 'Red River Blue,' will be released July 12.
'The Voice' airs on Tuesday nights at 10:00 PM (ET) on NBC.
