Glen Campbell Reveals Battle With Alzheimer's Disease

Music legend Glen Campbell has announced he's suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The 75-year-old singer of such country classics as 'Rhinestone Cowboy' and 'Wichita Lineman' got the diagnosis about six months ago, though he's been experiencing short-term memory loss for several years now.

Campbell is refusing to let the degenerative disorder slow him down. He's going full speed ahead with plans for a fall farewell tour in support of his final album, 'Ghost on the Canvas,' slated for release later this summer.

"Glen is still an awesome guitar player and singer," his wife Kim tells People magazine. "But if he flubs a lyric or gets confused on stage, I wouldn't want people to think, 'What's the matter with him? Is he drunk?'"

"I still love making music. And I still love performing for my fans," Campbell insists. "I'd like to thank them for sticking with me through thick and thin."

I have learned from Dr. William G. Williams that he has a cure for Alzheimers.
He covers it in his Special Report, THE ONLY WAY TO REVERSE ALZHEIMERS.
This is accomplished by a vitamin, NICIANIMIDE, from Swansons Vitamins.
A bottle of 250 at 250 mg each costs $3.89. Google this info and get
this highly important info...REVERSING ALZHEIMERS by Dr David G.
Williams. This is no hoax. vgraham568@aol.com

One of the things I have always admired about Glen is his outstanding ability as a picker. Have an old tape of Ernie Ford singing classic songs and Glen accompanying him on guitar. It is truly a great sound that never grows old for me. Thanks Glen.

I will always remember the first time I heard Gentle On My Mind being played on the radio. What happened? I became an instant fan of the enormous talents of Glen Campbell. I'm so happy that he was destined to become a music legend. No one can play the guitar or interepret a song as well as Glen. Once he sings a song, it has been SUNG. I will always treasure my photograph with him and his autographs. I wish that the word "farewell" was not part of his upcoming tour and CD. God bless him and his family as he copes with his Alzheimer's diagnosis.
As a fan, I am truly grateful for the beautiful music that he has brought to the world.

Kudo's to you Glen! Give'm all you got.
Do what the dr's say and always keep family
around. Grew up w/my family strumming your tunes
on their guitars. Great memories.

Alzheimer's: I call it "The longest mile" and I hope that there will be a cure or medication for anyone with it. He has always been a favorite of mine and still is. I wish you the 'best of the best', Glen. You're not alone. God Bless you Irishgoggy3@aol.com

Wow, this song as it was originally recorded is beautiful. But this live version just proves that some things really do get better with age. Glen Campbell is truly an amazing musician. He still has a fantastic voice and what a gifted guitarist.

Would you please contact Glen Campbell or his staff and let them know I have a perfect song for his last album. It's called "Losing My Mind" and it deals with alzheimer's disease. Anyone on his staff can contact me directly at granddogdaddy@hotmail.com. This song could help a lot of people, so I appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Stephen Pell
