"I've been waiting so long to announce this!" the reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year gushed today on ABC's 'Good Morning America.' "My next record is called 'Four the Record,' and it's out 11/1/11."
While the songbird's new husband, Blake Shelton, included a duet with his beloved, 'Draggin' the River,' on his last album, Miranda has yet to have a duet with her man on one of her critically-acclaimed projects. But that may change with 'Four the Record.' "We want to," Miranda says of future collaborations with her hubby. "Hopefully on my next record, we're going to!"
As for newlywed bliss, Miranda jokes that it's working out so far simply because they never see each other. "It's hectic!" she says of both of their jam-packed schedules. "But it's working out."
Miranda performed with her all-girl trio, Pistol Annies, on 'GMA' this morning, singing their debut single, 'Hell on Heels.' [Watch the performance below.] "It's a lot of fun," Miranda says of being in a band. "We all write songs together and we all have separate styles artistically on our own, but together we make up this chick group that sings about things most girls want to say but don't."
Pistol Annies' debut album, also titled 'Hell on Heels,' will be out August 23.
