The sisters, who along with delivering shimmering harmonies are also multi-instrumentalists, co-wrote 11 out of 12 songs on the new disc. Highly-sought-after producers Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift) and Adam Anders (Executive Music Producer of 'Glee') were at the helm for the latest album, the follow-up to last year's 'Chaos and Bright Lights.' But it's the sibling harmony that proves the brightest -- and most natural -- on the sisters' albums and in their live shows.
"There is a natural element to it that comes with sibling harmonies," Brooke tells The Boot. "But we practiced in the car, traveling to country music festivals. We've been doing this our whole lives but we've been constantly touring for the last four years. You can either harmonize or you can't. Some people just can't get it. And we do all sound alike, it's the tone in our voices. That's why our vocals blend and it works."
'Wrapped Up Good' has already been a huge seller Down Under, with the album's first four singles all going straight to No.1 on the Australian country charts. The collection was named Best Country Album at the 2011 ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) Music Awards, with the trio also earning Best Group honors at the year's Country Music Awards of Australia.
