Jerrod Niemann and the Eli Young Band have been announced as the opening entertainment for the first leg of the tour. Fan club members are able to purchase tickets for the first date beginning tomorrow (August 16) through Dierks' official website, with general admission going on sale Friday (August 19) through Ticketmaster. Additional dates are expected to be announced soon.
"It's been a killer summer playing festivals all over the country and partying with the most die-hard country music fans out there," Dierks acknowledges. "We're going to crank up the Country & Cold Cans tour in the fall and keep it going. I can't imagine that I'll have to convince Jerrod [Niemann] or EYB [Eli Young Band] to have a cold beer or two ... they are always up for the party."
Dierks' current single 'Am I the Only One' currently sits at No. 2 on the Country Songs chart. The singer's sixth studio album is expected to be released later this year.
