After releasing an album on actor/music biz champ Kiefer Sutherland's label and knocking out a Wild West-themed video for their catchy single, 'Little Toy Gun' (Sutherland's directorial debut), musicians Suzanne Santo and Ben Jaffe are ready to release their next album of bluesy pop with a Southern-twang. Their new project, titled 'Billy Jack,' drops October 24 on Lost Highway/Fontana.
Ben told our sister site Spinner that their eclectic, banjo-laden, countrified-fiddled, smoldering-piano-assisted, "freaky-deaky" sound is a result of the duo's "desire to play loud rock music, which we don't really do. I think 'rocktastic' is more of a goal."
To celebrate the release of the album, honeyhoney will head out on the road with folk singer-songwriter Joshua James on a 41-date nationwide Ten Buck Tour. What's in the name? All tickets are ten bucks or less. Catch them first at the Los Angeles Sunset Junction Festival on 'The Hotel Cafe Presents' stage on August 28.
