"We got the idea from this based on -- I'm kinda jealous -- of the way Kanye West or Eminem ... they can take somebody and say, 'Here's what I want you to say' -- and they're a character in the song," says Brad, who co-wrote 'Remind Me' with Kelley Lovelace and Chris DuBois. "I don't think we do enough of that kind of creativity in country music."
The current No. 1 song is the third single and second-consecutive chart-topper from Brad's critically-acclaimed album, 'This Is Country Music.' 'Remind Me' ups Brad's No. 1 songs count to 20, and bumps Carrie up to 14.
The dynamic duo will reprise their onstage chemistry in November for this year's CMA Awards. The two will return as co-hosts for country music's biggest night for the fourth consecutive year.
