The festivities kick off Oct. 4 with a tribute to Randy Travis, who's marking a milestone of his own: 25 years in the country music business. Carrie Underwood, Connie Smith and Josh Turner are planning performances alongside Randy that night, with much of the event taped for a special 'Opry Live' show to air on GAC Oct. 15.
The Opry's Official 86th Birthday Bash Weekend is Oct. 7-8, with planned performances by Opry members Charley Pride and Mel Tillis, along with Ronnie Dunn, Rascal Flatts and many more. (It will be Ronnie's solo Opry debut!)
The Oct. 11 Opry lineup includes Trace Adkins, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Sara Evans, Montgomery Gentry, Scotty McCreery, LeAnn Rimes and Chris Young.
Martina McBride will flip the switch that will turn the Opry's signature barn pink on Oct. 22, as she and several of her famous friends join the Women Rock for the Cure initiative to fight breast cancer. Lauren Alaina, Edens Edge, Ronnie Milsap and Kellie Pickler will also lend their time and talents that night to support the cause.
Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Little Big Town, Tanya Tucker, the Oak Ridge Boys, Ricky Skaggs and many more will also grace the Opry stage during its birthday month. Click here for a full list of events, along with more information on ticket sales.
