Kenny Chesney Goes Platinum Again!

Looks like Kenny Chesney continues to dominate, as his latest album 'Hemingway's Whiskey' has been certified platinum by the RIAA, commemorating one million copies sold. This is the country superstar's 10th album to go platinum. To boot, his single 'You and Tequila' featuring Grace Potter was certified gold for 500,000 digital downloads, the fourth single on the album to go gold after 'The Boys of Fall,' 'Somewhere With You' and 'Live a Little.'

If dominating physical and digital sales wasn't enough, Kenny is having a great year on the road, breaking the record for the biggest ticketed country show in the New York/New Jersey area and landing on Billboard's top tour list. Oh, and don't forget about the ladies. The heartthrob has scored himself into Cosmo magazine's "Hot Guys in Bands" list and has been crowned the fittest man in country music by Men's Health Magazine. My, my, seems like most of the "haters" , who don't like country music but feel the need to make rude comments, got up on the wrong side of the bed. Not everyone likes the same type of music - I cannot stand Rap Crap - but I don't read stories about the "artists" who make that sort of CDs. Also don't comment on them!! Use your mouse and move on.

I love kenny! Good job. Too bad he didn't get nominated for EOTY. He totally deserves it. He's an awesome performer and he can sing...... who cares if he is bald, so are alot of men, they still are sexy!

Can't recall ever hearing anything by him,of course so much sounds the same it's hard to tell who is who.When are they going to update Elvis' awards, I think every album he made has gone gold or platinum?

Would not bet on this but around Nashville,he story is that he is bald as a cueball
but will n ever bee seen without a hat. Plus some have strongly inferred that he
would be more comfortable in a dress ... Just curious not that I care
