As Ryan interviewed Julianne's brother, 'DWTS' pro dancer Derek Hough, and his celebrity partner this season, Ricki Lake, the topic of conversation turned to Ryan's lovely lady. "I think I'm coming because another Hough, I think, is coming on," Ryan not-so-subtly hinted at a visit to the show's set by the happy couple. "I think she's coming back, so I think I'm coming back for that night."
Adding fuel to the rumor fire, Ricki chimed in, "I heard that. I heard a rumor about that," said the former talk show host.
Though no specific details emerged, the Oct. 14 theater release date of Julianne's latest flick, 'Footloose,' may have something to do with it. Despite the nature of the movie, the dancer-turned-singer-turned actress doesn't flex her fast-paced footwork in the adaptation of the 1984 cult classic. "It was going to be this singing, dancing, big shebang movie," Julianne tells The Boot. "Now it's going to be more like the original and really, really holding all the key points from the movie. It's great for me, because I feel like it's a real performance, acting piece for me. I don't sing or dance in it, so it's going to be really fun and challenging."
Yesterday, we announced the young actress has signed on to star in Diablo Cody's untitled directorial debut, alongside Katy Perry's funnyman husband Russell Brand. Julianne also recently wrapped shooting for the big-screen adaptation of the Broadway show, 'Rock of Ages.'
There is still no word on Julianne's long-awaited sophomore country album, but with her jam-packed schedule, it seems as though the young entertainer will be busy well into 2012. Click below to watch Julianne and her 'Footloose' co-star Kenny Wormald in an exclusive photo shoot and interview.
