"I'll be dancing with Kenny. We will definitely be dancing to 'Footloose,' but we will have a few tricks up our sleeves in the beginning," Julianne reveals to USA Today.
The former DWTS pro will also sit down for an interview with her brother -- and current dance pro -- Derek Hough as part of the evening's entertainment.
In 'Footloose,' the ballroom dancer-turned-country singer-turned actress reprises the role of Ariel, the daughter of a preacher who has banned dancing in a small town. Kenny fills Kevin Bacon's dancing shoes as the main character, Ren. The film hits theaters Oct. 14.
"It was going to be this singing, dancing, big shebang movie," Julianne tells The Boot. "Now it's going to be more like the original and really, really holding all the key points from the movie. It's great for me, because I feel like it's a real performance, acting piece for me. I don't sing or dance in it, so it's going to be really fun and challenging."
Julianne's special appearance on 'Dancing With the Stars' takes place on Tuesday (Oct. 11).
