The Georgia native will seemingly be everywhere this month, returning to television with a string of high-profile appearances in promotion of 'Wildflower.' Lauren will jump-start her media blitz with a performance of her new single, 'Georgia Peaches,' on 'Good Morning America' on Oct. 11. The 'American Idol' alum will sing in our AOL Music Sessions studios on Oct. 12, followed by a performance on 'LIVE! With Regis & Kelly' on Oct. 13 and 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Oct. 21. She also has interview segments booked on 'E! News,' 'Entertainment Tonight,' CNN, CMT and GAC throughout the month of October.
Lauren is also the focus of a half-hour GAC special, 'Introducing: Lauren Alaina.' The country music network's cameras have documented Lauren's journey from high school student to country music superstar since June, capturing many defining moments of her young career since placing second on 'American Idol' in May. The special is set to premiere on Oct. 10.
'Wildflower' will be available for purchase at all retailers and digital outlets beginning Oct. 11. The 12-song collection features the brand-new single, 'Georgia Peaches,' as well as Lauren's first Top 40 single, 'Like My Mother Does.'
