Last Friday (Oct. 7), following the singer's performance at the Pepsi Ice Center in Bloomington, Ind., fan John Griffin jumped from the second level of the venue's parking garage, ostensibly to get a better view of the country star.
"He told us he was not trying to injure himself, but trying to see Reba getting on her bus," Bloomington police Sgt. Henry Craft told the Pantagraph newspaper.
The 48-year-old Griffin was taken to a local hospital. He was not seriously injured, Craft reports.
No word on whether Griffin's stunt gave him a better glimpse of Reba, but come next year, he might be able to gaze at the singer from the comfort of his couch. Last month, she announced that she's signed on to shoot a pilot for 'Malibu County,' a proposed ABC series about a divorcee looking to restart her singing career.
