Vince Gill, Rascal Flatts, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Little Big Town and the Oak Ridge Boys are the first round of artists who have been announced as performers for the star-studded night, with plenty more singers expected to be announced later.
"The support that this event has received over the past couple of years, really speaks to the commitment to and the importance of preserving the past and protecting the future of country music," Keith says. "We'll have some great bands performing -- part of our 'All Together Now' theme for the night -- an especially fitting concept that we hope will capture the spirit of the evening."
That 'All Together Now' theme has, in the past, included Keith and Vince playing in the house band with every artist on the bill.
Tickets for the 2012 All for the Hall will go on sale on November 4, as well as a limited number of VIP packages which are broken down into three categories, each named after a single by Keith. The packages, dubbed 'Start a Band,' 'Put You in a Song' and 'Get Closer,' range in prices from $150 to $3500 for the Get Closer package, which includes dinner with Keith, plus time with him before the show, signed memorabilia by the New Zealand-born star, a premium floor seat and a post-concert party.
All for the Hall, which has raised more than $1 million for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, will be held at the Bridgestone Arena. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster, at the Bridgestone Arena, or by calling (800) 745-3000.
