"I'm looking forward to the tour and playing some new music from 'Four the Record' and kicking some attitude," said Miranda. "Chris and Jerrod have great shows, and we're gonna have a lot of fun out there."
Kicking off Jan. 12 in Rockford, Ill., this will be Miranda's third headlining tour, following 2010's Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars trek and the Revolution tour. She credits a lot of her road smarts to paying her dues as an opening act.
"I've really gotten so spoiled when it comes to touring," Miranda told The Boot. "My first tour was with Keith Urban, then I went with George Strait, then Dierks Bentley, then Toby Keith, then Kenny Chesney, then Brad Paisley, and then Brooks & Dunn. So I think I've covered all the big boys in our industry!"
The two big boys on Miranda's On Fire tour are looking forward to spending the first part of 2012 on the road with the 'Baggage Claim' singer. "I'm really fired up about touring with Miranda," Chris says. "I've admired her talent over the years."
"Miranda is as real as it gets," adds Jerrod. "I'm proud to be a fan and thankful to be a friend."
A full list of cities and dates for the On Fire tour will be announced soon.
