The singers, who each both boast more than 20 years in country music, join several other famous names in middle Tennessee to will receive the honor, including clothing designer to the stars Manuel and TV star and gospel music singer Bobby Jones. In addition, posthumous honors will also be awarded to electric guitar legend Les Paul, gospel music singer and songwriter Dottie Rambo, and news anchor and TV broadcaster Dan Miller.
The Music City Walk of Fame, which began in 2006, holds more than 50 stars already, including placards honoring Elvis Presley, Rascal Flatts, Wynonna Judd, Reba McEntire, Roy Orbison, Barbara Mandrell, Martina McBride, Dolly Parton and Peter Frampton.
The stars will be revealed at the Walk of Fame Park (on Demonbreun St. between 4th and 5th Avenues South) on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 12:00 PM. The event is free and open to the public.
