"Changing my diet was the big thing," the 5-foot-7 Georgia native tells Us Weekly. "I had to learn correct portion control." Lauren has divulged her diet secrets, admitting that she initially used the meal delivery service Sunfare to transition into a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet.
Now, the singer, whose 'Wildflower' album debuted at No. 2, has adapted the pre-planned meal service's formula to her lifestyle. "I eat an egg-white omelet for breakfast, shrimp and veggies for lunch and chicken with asparagus for dinner." No pain, no gain ... or loss, that is!
As for her fitness regime, Lauren does a daily workout of crunches, push-ups and "lots of squats," which have helped the singer slim down to a size-2. But she's not done dropping the pounds just yet. "I'm 10 pounds from my goal -- almost there! I wear size small and extra-small now!" Alaina exclaimed.
