The 'Sing-Off' Covers Carrie Underwood -- Exclusive Clip

Getty Images for Clear Channel

The 'Sing-Off' is going country next week, and we have an exclusive first look at fan favorite group Urban Method tackling the Carrie Underwood hit, 'Before He Cheats.'

Now in its third season, the popular reality competition show spotlights 16 a cappella groups, all vying for a Sony Music recording contract and a $200,000 grand prize. The show is hosted by Nick Lachey, with celebrity judges Ben Folds (Ben Folds Five), Shawn Stockman (Boyz II Men) and Sara Bareilles ('Love Song,' 'King of Anything') providing critique. But it is the fans who will determine the winners, by casting votes online starting Nov. 21.

Despite being known as the resident hip-hop group of the TV series, Urban Method show impressive versatility as they tackle Carrie's country tune complete with rapping and beat-boxing. Watch a clip of their performance below.

'The Sing Off' airs Mondays at 8:00 PM ET on NBC. Tune this Monday, Nov. 7, to watch the show go country.

I'm sorry but I have to agree she sounds like a drunk singing karoke maybe they should use instruments. Carrie has nothing to worry about with this girl.

they are the worst group left. if they don't get kicked off this next episode i will be very disappointed. they're not horrible overall, but their girls really aren't soloists. and from this performance, their lead sounded like she was in a karaoke bar.

Your ignorance is staggering. Real music isn't auto tuned and perfect like it is when you turn on the radio. The talent these vocalists developed over years of hard work far exceeds a drunk karaoke night. Have a little respect.
