"There's so much about it that's a little miracle every time they pull off one of these awards shows," says Brad, the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, who is once again nominated for the top prize.
Carrie also acknowledges their work is secondary to the meticulous planning others do to make sure the extravagant event goes off without a hitch. "There's a lot of work that goes on in the background before we even get scripts," says the Female Vocalist of the Year nominee. "It takes a million people to make a show like this happen.
Aside from their hosting duties, the talented twosome are nominated for their own awards as solo artists. Brad is tied with Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift for the most nominations this year (five apiece), with Brad's nods including Entertainer of the Year and Album of the Year for 'This Is Country Music.' Carrie is up for the Female Vocalist of the Year trophy, an award she has taken home three times.
