Jennifer Nettles Opens Up About Indiana State Fair Tragedy

For Sugarland, the stage collapse at the Indiana State fair will forever be a tragic landmark. Seconds before the band was to take the stage, a powerful gust of wind blew over the entire stage facade. Seven were killed and dozens more were injured in the accident. In the words of lead singer Jennifer Nettles, "There will always be a before that happened and an after that happened."

Tonight (Nov. 8) on ABC's 'In The Spotlight With Robin Roberts,' Jennifer will be opening up on national television for the first time about the horrific event that forever changed her life. "There are no words for that kind of tragedy," she admits.

On a much lighter note, the powerhouse singer also addresses all those rumors that she will one day part from Sugarland partner Kristian Bush. "A solo record, yes," she reveals. "I would love it if I did it; I would love it if he did it. I don't have a recording date on the books as of yet, but it's absolutely one thing I would love to do one day."

Jennifer will be featured on 'In the Spotlight: All Access Nashville' tonight at 10:00 PM ET alongside Scotty McCreery, Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, and Lauren Alaina. Watch a preview of Kenny's segment here, and click below for a sneak peek at Jennifer's emotional chat with Robin.

Folks, it was the Indiana State Fair. That me not be a big deal to some, means a lot to those of us who were there.

The author of the story needs to get her states straight! This happened in INDIANA....research before writing. Try reading your own story on The Boot "Sugarland 'Celebrate Healing' With Indianapolis Show".

I can't believe you haven't changed this yet. The story is much more important than the mistake here. I admit, it gets me pretty fired up too... I am originally from IL, have lived in IN 10 years... Its just too bad, because a mistake like this takes away the power of the story itself. I agree, with this kind of mistake, Theo should be fired right away. That is a deal breaker sir, and you should know it.

Really, you want someone to lose their job because they made a mistake. What is wrong with you?? Are you so perfect they you have never done anything wrong? People whine and complain about the silliest things these days.
