The wife of Tim McGraw will perform for NBC's 'Christmas in Rockefeller Center' special on Nov. 30, sharing the stage with Tony Bennett, Michael Bublé, Cee Lo Green, Katharine McPhee, Justin Bieber and the winner of 'The Voice,' Javier Colon.
The show, which also includes the official lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, will be hosted by Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie from the 'Today' show. It will also include a performance by the Radio City Rockettes and an appearance by Megan Hilty, who played Dolly Parton's role in the '9 to 5' Broadway show and will star in the upcoming NBC musical drama, 'Smash.'
Faith, whose last album released was her 2008 holiday CD, 'Joy to the World,' hasn't released a new album of country songs since the multi-platinum selling 'Fireflies' in 2005. So to say she's anxious about her new project, due in February, is an understatement! The mother of three girls is ready to focus on her music career again and feels optimistic about the future.
"I really feel like there's a lot more ahead of me than behind me," she tells the Sydney Morning Herald. "I'm really just starting to figure out what I want to do and the music I want to make. I'm only about 30 percent into my career. It's been foothills until now."
'Christmas in Rockefeller Center' will air live on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 8:00 PM ET on NBC.
