The married father of four traveled to Charleston, S.C., recently, to film a part on Lifetime's hit series, 'Army Wives.' Craig reveals that the appearance went so well, the show's executives want to give the singer a recurring presence on the show.
"For whatever reason, they liked me," he tells Nashville's Tennessean. "And when it's all said and done, they're going to try to write me in on a real role. How cool is that? It would be awesome."
The Tennessee native may be interested in pursuing an acting career, but he has no plans of leaving his music career behind. He recently released 'This Ole Boy,' a five-song EP, and just shot a video of the project's title track with 'Rizzoli & Isles' star Angie Harmon portraying his romantic interest. The song is the first single from his upcoming CD, which will be the singer's debut project for his new label, Black River Entertainment.
"I've never been happier," he maintains. "This will be the last record deal I have."
Craig's full CD should hit shelves early next year. His five-song EP can be purchased here.
