Taylor Swift Performs With Selena Gomez, Goo Goo Dolls, James Taylor in NYC (VIDEO)

Taylor Swift recently celebrated the conclusion of her hugely successful Speak Now World Tour with two sold-out shows at New York City's Madison Square Garden, continuing the tradition of inviting fellow friends and hometown musicians onstage for once-in-a-lifetime performances.

Fans of the 'Sparks Fly' singer were treated to performances by the legendary James Taylor at last night's (Nov. 22) finale. "This song is probably one of the most fantastic, amazing songs I ever heard in my life," Taylor told the crowd before James joined her onstage. "It's called 'Fire and Rain' by James Taylor."

Taylor revealed to the crowd that she was actually named after the famed musician before launching into the pop classic, as well as a performance of her own 'Fifteen.' The singer also invited BFF Selena Gomez to the stage, sharing a special moment with Justin Bieber's girlfriend while performing the Disney star's pop hit 'Who Says.'

Taylor invited Johnny Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls onstage during the first of the two shows, performing the pop/rock band's massive hit, 'Iris.' Immediately following Monday's (Nov. 21) concert, the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year took to her official Twitter account to share her elation over the surreal experience.

"Last night, Madison Square Garden was lit up like a Christmas tree - And we got to play 'Iris' with Johnny Rzeznik from @googoodolls! Crazy!," Taylor tweeted.

Fans who weren't able to catch the singer's stage show extravaganza can purchase the live Speak Now world tour CD/DVD combo pack, which features 17 songs from Taylor's live shows and 75 minutes of music with additional bonus content. The singer recently released a similar package for her 2010 Fearless headlining tour.

I don't know...y'all must be smokin somethin if y'all think Swift can sing. I just DON'T get how SO many people are SO smitten with this girl. I just cringe EVERYTIME I hear her sing live on an awards show...she CAN'T, and yet, she wins awards...It makes you wonder how she is REALLY winning...

I was at both NYC shows (total 5 this tour) and at 21 Taylor is the most amazing performer and GREAT singer and writer. Her connection with her audience is like nothing I have ever witnessed before, a total love-fest.
Not just the ETOY she is the Entertainer of the Millenium. I feel honored and priviledged to have been in her presence.

I totally agree...saw her live on the Fearless tour in March, 2010, and you have to be in the same room to really feel her aura, or halo, or whatever you want to call it. Taylor soaks up the love and gives it back in spades, and it's like a religious experience. She's a conduit for unadulterated creativity, and just getting going too. Taylor is the most special person I've ever seen perform, and I knew Jerry Garcia who had the same juice, but with so many faults. She's fearless, and grows more beautiful every day.
