"I wish it was happening right now ... I'm so ready for it," Kenny tells KIKN. "I'm really excited to say that I'm going out on the road next summer with my buddy. It's really hard for me to believe, because Tim and I have been friends a long time. We've made a lot of music together and made a lot of memories together. He's one of my best friends in the business and outside the business."
With several shows approaching sold-out status, and 12 concerts sill set to go on sale, Kenny is poised to match his last eight consecutive tours with more than a million tickets sold. The Brothers of the Sun tour will be the first time in a decade that Kenny and Tim have hit the road together, with Kenny's 'You & Tequila' duet partner Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and Jake Owen also joining for the reunion stadium tour.
