Billboard has gone country. The legendary music magazine has teamed up with 'stache media for a mini-magazine dedicated to country music. Available exclusively at Target stores starting next Tuesday, Dec. 27, the limited edition magazine's first two issues will feature Jason Aldean on one cover and Zac Brown Band on the other, with each also including a 20-track CD of hits by the cover artists, along with Trace Adkins, Thompson Square, Montgomery Gentry, Craig Morgan, Aaron Lewis and many more. Priced at $4.99, each magazine also boasts 48 pages of interviews and music reviews and a 2012 fold-out calendar.
"Partnering with Billboard on this special country edition has allowed us to offer a great value proposition to the consumer," says 'stache media's SVP of Marketing Tony Bruno. "Because of the brand's prominence and the credibility of the magazine, we are able to expose the country music scene to an even wider audience."
You can find Billboard's mini-magazine in the music section at all Target retail stores nationwide, and online at Target.com/billboardcountry.
