Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill Join Tony Bennett for PBS Special

Carrie Underwood and Faith Hill were just two of the artists who performed with legendary singer Tony Bennett on his 'Duets II' album. The 17-song CD, which debuted at the top of the charts, featured collaborations with an eclectic list of performers including Lady Gaga, Aretha Franklin, John Mayer, Mariah Carey, Willie Nelson and the late Amy Winehouse. Now, those studio sessions will be made available to the viewing public, thanks to a PBS special slated to air later this month.

The hour-long program, which is part of the network's long-running 'Great Performances' series, captures the behind-the-scenes action of the 85-year-old singing in the studio with several of the singers featured on the album. As seen in the video player below, Faith performs 'The Way You Look Tonight' with the iconic crooner, while Carrie sings 'It Had to Be You' -- a tune she previously performed with Tony for an episode of 'Blue Bloods.'

'Duets II' is the follow-up album to the 15-time Grammy winner's 2006 million-seller, 'Duets: An American Classic,' which included performances by Tim McGraw, James Taylor, Paul McCartney, Sting and the Dixie Chicks.

There's a good chance Tony will meet up with Carrie at the Grammy Awards in February, since the Oklahoma native is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance for 'Mama's Song.' The octogenarian is nominated for three trophies, including Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

I will neve watch or buy anything Tony Bennett since he made the comment that
we provoked the Muslims to attack the World Trade Center.

I'm not a fan of Carrie's voice or music at all but I did think she was a nice person until I came across her. She was so rude and conceited that I will never be a fan. I heard many stories about how rude she is and now I believe them. I don't think she can sing well and her songs are crappy too. Jesus Take the Wheel was nice but after that, they were crap. I don't think Taylor has a good voice but atleast she is a role model for young girls and seems to be a nice person. Faith has a great voice and has always been a nice person. I hope she comes out with new music soon. Martina, Faith, Leann Rimes and Jennifer Nettles are the best vocalists in country music but thats just my humble opinion.

Carrie and Faith will both be with Tony.he sings with several wonderful singers and I am a big Faith fan only but I do like Carrie,she has a great voice. and she and Faith are real good friends and they both have really nice personalities.

I am so sick of people ragging on Carrie because they feel threatened by her!! I understand not everyone is going to love her voice..that is their business...however it is arrogant and ignorant to diss her talent... My wish for 2012 is that people that go around these internet sites dissing people they don't even know will grow up!! This is ridiculous! Carrie your fan base is still going strong and we can't wait to hear new music from you!!!

Forget about stupid Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill is going to sing with him. She can out sing that girl anyday. Carrie can't sing a song without screaming about stupid crap. I can't wait for new music from Faith, Tim, Shania, Reba, Sugarland, Trace, Dierk and hopefully Deana Carter in the new year!

Just because you don't like Carrie Underwood doesn't mean the rest of us don't..I personally can't wait for more from Carrie.. If you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all!
