Their record label, Average Joe's Entertainment, is including a "collective story" in all three packages, to be completed upon the purchase of 'Declaration of Independence.' JB and the Moonshine Band's sophomore project, 'Beer for Breakfast,' will be released March 6, and it includes the first piece of the puzzle. Next is the Lacs' '190 Proof,' out April 3, followed by the story's conclusion, Colt's latest project, which hits stores May 1.
Fans can expect to hear a long list of contributors on the country rapper's next release. His last album, 'Every Chance I Get,' was packed with stars including Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Charlie Daniels, Josh Thompson and Craig Morgan.
They can also trust that the album will be authentic. "I'm not playing a character up there," Colt tells The Boot. "I'm not in a movie. That's me being me. What they see on stage is the same thing I am at home, just a big old country redneck guy that believes in God, family, friends and America, loves his family and doesn't mind going to Walmart."
Colt will hit the road on his Declaration of Independence Tour, with the Lacs and JB and the Moonshine Band, April 6 in Sasser, Ga. A full list of cities will be released Feb. 1.
