Kenny Chesney leads this year's Academy of Country Music award nominations with nine nods. The Tennessee native recieved six nominations as an artist -- Entertainer, Male Vocalist, Album, Single, Song and Vocal Event of the Year -- and three as a producer -- Album, Single and Vocal Event of the Year. His No. 1 single, 'You and Tequila,' featuring Grace Potter recieved three nominations.

Joining Kenny in the Entertainer of the Year category are Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift. The winner in that category, along with the New Artist of the Year, will be chosen by you -- the fans. For the fourth year, you can cast your vote for both categories online.

As George Strait and Alan Jackson said " There's been a killing on music roll."
Country is getting more pop then real. Except for a few.

George Strait has no nominations at all. They can't be serious.

Why is Tim McGraw not nominated again? I thought his song felt good on my lips did well. His song did go to #1 in fact for 3 weeks Reesa. And i totally agree with this comment. It seems like every year now its Kenny, Miranda, Taylor, Brad and Zac Brown Band for all major nominations......something is REALLY wrong there!!

Why is Tim McGraw not nominated again? I thought his song felt good on my lips did well. I thought I'm Gonna Love You Through It by Martina should have gotten best song nomination. Its one of the most beautiful songs sang by one of the best vocalist. How did Carrie Underwear get a nomination without a single? Thats not fair, Reba should have gotten something. I can't wait to see Reba and Blake host again. They were funny last year. Blake's comment about Jake Gyllenhall was hysterical.

I cant wait to see kenny win! Congrats to him and the others nominated. I hope to see Taylor go home empty handed. After her pissed off face when she lost to Miranda at CMAs I dont care for her anymore.

Congrats to all. But when will we see an Entertainer of the Year category w/ more than one woman nominated? Would have been nice to see Miranda nominated w/ Taylor. I mean God forbid we see two women nominated on a regular basis.
