In addition to providing great entertainment, the Country Throwdown tour historically partners with a few charities along the way. With Willie Nelson as the headliner last year, the tour helped promote the 'Keep a Breast' program to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. The country icon and his 2011 tourmates also donated some of their money earned on the trek to help Alabama tornado victims.
