"This song's all about blowing off some steam, which people do every night when they come out to our show ... and what I did last night when I went out to a show," the singer-songwriter explains. "For the next couple hours, I'm just gonna have a good time!"

'Home' is the follow-up to the Arizona native's 'Up on the Ridge' CD (The Boot's choice for the No. 1 album of 2010), which drew heavily on his bluegrass influences. With the new record, Dierks returns to his beloved country roots.
"I definitely stepped away and explored some things that were more on the fringe of country music for a little while," says the singer. "So this record feels fresh. It doesn't feel like a continuation of any other project or series of recordings. I love being able to try different things musically, and I'm so thankful my fans have followed me to those places. But, I feel like my real 'Home' is in the center of country music."
The new album's first single, 'Am I the Only One,' went to the top of the charts, with its second single, 'Home,' now in the Top 10 and climbing. The latter tune is also nominated for Song of the Year at April's ACM Awards.
The full 'Home' album hits stores Feb. 7. Pre-order your copy here.
