"This is fantastic," the blond beauty gushed from the stage upon accepting her performance honors. "It's always gonna mean the world to me, the idea of getting to go to the Grammys. This one means a lot to me because it's for the song, 'Mean,' that I wrote. There's no feeling like writing a song about someone who hates you and is mean to you and makes your life miserable ... and then win the Grammy for it."
Taylor is also up for Best Country Album for her multi-platinum selling 'Speak Now' album.
Best Country Solo Performance Nominees:
'Dirt Road Anthem,' Jason Aldean
'I'm Gonna Love You Through It,' Martina McBride
'Honey Bee,' Blake Shelton
'Mean,' Taylor Swift
'Mama's Song,' Carrie Underwood
