2012 Kids' Choice Awards Nominees Include Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, Toby Keith

Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum and Toby Keith are among the country stars who are nominated for the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. The ceremony where kids pick the winners and everyone lives in fear of being slimed, will take place Saturday, March 31.

Taylor is recognized in the all-genre Favorite Female Singer category, alongside Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez and Katy Perry. Her tune 'Sparks Fly' is also nominated for Favorite Song, against Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way,' Katy Perry's 'Firework' and LMFAO's 'Party Rock Anthem.'

These make the 22-year-old a five-time Kids' Choice Awards nominee. She was recognized in 2011 for 'Mine' in the Song category as well as in the Female Singer lineup. However, her only win (so far) was in 2010 as the year's Favorite Female Singer.

Lady Antebellum face off against Big Time Rush, the Black Eyed Peas and LMFAO for the Favorite Music Group title, while Toby Keith, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and Usher vie for the Favorite Male Singer crown. If chosen, this would be the first Kids' Choice Award for both Lady A and Toby.

In addition, country singer Jennette McCurdy is recognized for her acting abilities in the Favorite TV Sidekick category for her role on 'iCarly,' which is also nominated for Favorite TV Show.

Voting starts here Feb. 24. The show will air live on Nick March 31 at 8:00 PM ET.
