Miranda Lambert, 'Over You' Video (Behind-the-Scenes) - Exclusive Premiere

Randee St. Nicholas

Miranda Lambert looks positively regal in her first music video in more than a year. Donning a vintage dress and a riding coat that look to be from the 1920s, the country star visits the Cedars of Lebanon state park in Tennessee to let the wilderness bring to life the lyrics of her tearjerking new single, 'Over You.'

The official 'Over You' video won't be out until this Thursday (March 1), but The Boot has an early sneak peek. In this behind-the-scenes clip, Miranda's emotions run the gamut -- from choking back tears to smiling at a new friend who used to be in the circus! Watch it below.

Co-written with husband Blake Shelton, 'Over You' was inspired by the loss of Blake's older brother, Richie, who died in a car accident in 1991.

"I've never cried writing a song, and I don't know that I ever will again," says Miranda. "After we wrote it, Blake said he couldn't record this song for himself or sing it on stage every night but he would be honored for me to. 'Over You' is one of the most special songs I'll ever be a part of."

'Over You' is the second single from Miranda's chart-topping 'Four the Record' album. Come back to The Boot on Thursday for the song's official music video!

Reesa, I think she wrote the song for Blake's brother who died. I do agree with you, she is a real country star. I would just add Deana Carter to my list of top female vocalists. She has always been one of my favorite artists. I hope she comes back soon.

I love Miranda and her music. I think she is a real country artist. She is the real deal. I think she is this generation's Loretta Lynn. The best country female vocalists are Reba, Martina, Faith, Sara, Jennifer Nettles, Jewel and Miranda. Thats my humble opinion though. She must have lost someone in her life to write such a powerful song. Its a beautiful song. Gunpowder and Lead and the House that Built Me are my favorite songs that she sings.

Miranda is such a sweetheart. She and Carrie represent the best of the new breed of female artists and will fill the shoes for the legends.
