"I've always been one for giving aspiring artists a chance and that's exactly what this competition has done," says Keith, who chose Brandon out of 100 finalists. "When I heard Brandon sing, the conviction in his voice just blew me away. I truly enjoyed working in the studio with Brandon and look forward to watching his career develop."
Keith not only played on the track but also invited Brandon to open for him at a show in Knoxville, Tenn. Watch footage from that concert, along with behind-the-scenes clips from the studio, in the video player below.
"From beginning to end -- from submitting a song I wrote for Keith Urban, to opening for him in front of an audience of thousands -- this has been an unforgettable journey," says Brandon. "The Your Next Record Program has opened many doors for me, including this release of my music on iTunes. I am beyond grateful and look forward to what is to come."
Brandon Green's self titled debut EP, produced by Dann Huff (Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts), will be available for download via iTunes starting tomorrow (March 6).
