"My fiancé and I, which is weird to say now, it felt like the right time," Dave explains of his bride-to-be, Kelli Cashiola. "We've known each other for years, and I think when you know, you know. As cliché as it is, it's totally true. We had this window of time off. It's so funny, we squeezed a lot of living into about four weeks. But, we were ready to go there. I surprised her with a Christmas surprise with lights all around her house."
Kelli may have been shocked by the proposal, but Charles, who was the first to say "I do," knew early on that Dave had found his soul mate. "We always knew there was something there between the two of them," he recounts, "so it's really cool to see all the love in the air."
Love also found Hillary, who wed drummer Chris Tyrell on January 7, 2012. The 25-year-old, who became engaged on July 4, was married in an intimate ceremony in upstate New York, surrounded by her family and close friends.
"It was actually a surprise for us as well, because it all kind of fell into place last minute," recalls the songstress. "The first location we were looking for fell through. We just thought, 'We have a month off in January. Let's see if we can pull this together.' And honestly, it came together perfectly and was exactly what Chris and I have ever dreamed of, and it ended up being a very intimate and special event."
The three band members are having to learn to keep their romances alive while on the road. They are currently in the middle of their Own the Night tour, which will take them to Illinois and Iowa this week, followed by several shows in Canada. See their concert schedule here.
