Kelly Clarkson, 'Mr. Know It All' Country Version to Hit Radio Next Month

It's official! Kelly Clarkson's chart-topping pop hit, 'Mr. Know It All,' is soon to be a country chart-climber, too. The original 'American Idol' has re-worked her smash hit to be a little bit slower with more guitar, less drums and less production, making it a perfect fit for the genre that's already become the Texas native's second home.

"Hey everybody, I got to work with Dann Huff and recut 'Mr. Know It All' for country radio!" Kelly tweeted today (March 21). "I hope y'all like it!! I had a lot of fun recutting the song and getting the opportunity to work with Dann! It will be available on iTunes April 3rd."

Dann Huff is the powerhouse producer behind platinum-selling country albums by Faith Hill, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts and many more.

This country-crossover track comes on the heels of Kelly's platinum-selling, CMA-winning country duet with Jason Aldean, 'Don't You Wanna Stay.' The 29-year-old singer, who owns a home in Nashville, has plenty of close country music ties -- including her manager, Narvel Blackstock, who is married to Reba McEntire, with whom Kelly had another smash country duet, 'Because of You.' Kelly is also rumored to be dating Narvel's son, Brandon Blackstock, who manages Kelly's good buddy Blake Shelton. And Kelly, of course, is helping mentor Team Blake on NBC's reality competition show, 'The Voice.' So those surprised by the vocal powerhouse's crossover to country music ... well, frankly shouldn't be! Besides, the singer-songwriter finds the country music community to be a lot more welcoming than the pop music circles.

"At country music events, everyone's so nice. But at pop events, everybody's too cool for school. Nobody ever talks," Kelly tells People magazine. "I like the acts musically, but I don't know anyone, which is weird because I've been doing this for ten years."

Her 'COUNTRY VERSION" is not much off the mark of the 'POP VERSION". Not her best song in either genre. I like Kelly's pop songs and I don't think she is country at all. I do not like artists that alter their vocals to sound country. It sounds fake.

I love it! Kelly Clarkson is the best vocalist that came from Idol. Jennifer Hudson is pretty good too.
