Trace Adkins is one of the latest country artists to join Twitter, and he has plenty to share with his more than 144,000 followers. The 50-year-old recently revealed that he was working on a new song for his upcoming album, and clearly the dress code for the day was 'clothing optional.'
"In the studio. This song needs to be sung naked," the married father of five tweeted, showing his bare chest hiding behind a music stand. "The engineer just puked. Good song though."
The 'Million Dollar View' singer left a little more to the imagination this time than he did a few weeks ago, when he tweeted a picture of the back of his hospital gown wide open (see the picture here if you dare!), following surgery to remove kidney stones.
Trace carved out studio time while in the middle of his Songs & Stories tour, which he hopes will bring him closer to his fans. "I've had many narrow escapes and blessings in my life," Trace shares. "The right song at the right time has been my saving grace and that's something I have in common with the audience. Sharing meaningful songs, stories and some laughs 'around the campfire' is the country music tradition and I'm looking forward to it."
