Jake Owen Engaged: Singer Proposes to Lacey Buchanan During Hometown Show

Jake Owen is riding high with 'Alone With You,' the chart-topping single he says is about "being in a bad relationship." As he recently told the Boot, he's had some experience in that department, but he's since reversed his romantic fortunes. Last night (April 7), the singer proposed to girlfriend Lacey Buchanan during a concert in his hometown of Vero Beach, Fla., Taste of Country reports. Of course, she accepted.

Jake dropped to one knee and popped the question while singing 'Don't Think I Can't Love You,' and according to Country Music Is Love, the proposal was completely spontaneous. He didn't even have a ring. As he told the audience, he'd always wanted to get engaged in front of friends and family, he during the show, the time just seemed right.

No word yet on whether the 'Barefoot Blue Jean Night' singer will have a barefoot blue-jean wedding, but whether it's a down-home or formal affair, we're sure it'll be every bit as romantic as last night's proposal. Congrats to the happy couple.

oh,nice topic. i have heard that a saying goes in China like this "Only one himself knows if the shoes match his feet or not “。If u really love her /him ,nothing matters, let alone the age .i met my BF via~~--Ａge'date . ℃○M .~~ a nice place for younger women and oldermen, or older women and younger men, to interact with each other! , he is almost 12 older than me ,but we think we did find the true love .BTW,Ever feel that you would best enjoy someone who is not in your age group? Free of the embarrassment and annoyance, go for what makes you really happy.If u are really interested in it, maybe u wanna check it out or tell your friends

Ah yes...the "country singer"......what most people don't realize that there are certain requirements you need to meet in order to consider yourself a ..."country fan"
You must always refuse to be happy about anything, if your chicken(lover) hasn't flown the coop, or your best friend hasn't stolen your sister(wife) from you, you're out of luck.
Remember, since listening to country moosic can cause an immediate nerve reaction in your hand, it's ok...a normal human that hears country "moosic" usually tries to drive railroad spikes thru their ears...don't be alarmed, it's a normal reaction.
And most importantly....the women of country music are usually very attractive, don't be fooled...they're all related and sound just as awful as the men(brothers,lovers,husbands)...heed the warning and you might survive the hell of.....country moosic
